Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By accessing or using this programme, you agree to be bound by the terms described herein and all terms incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not participate in this programme.

These Terms and Conditions apply to your access to, and participation in, the Starbucks® Rewards programme which is operated by MARINOPOULOS COFEE COMPANY S.A. These Terms and Conditions do not alter in any way the terms or conditions of any other agreement you may have with Starbucks for products, services or otherwise. Starbucks reserves the right to change, modify and/or eliminate Starbucks® Rewards and/or these Terms and Conditions or any policy, FAQ, or guideline pertaining to Starbucks® Rewards at any time and in its sole discretion. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the revisions to, and you waive any right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes or modifications. Your continued participation in Starbucks® Rewards will confirm your acceptance of such changes or modifications; therefore, you should review these Terms and Conditions and applicable policies frequently to understand the terms and conditions that apply to Starbucks® Rewards. If you do not agree to the amended terms, you must stop participating in Starbucks® Rewards.

This programme is not targeted towards, nor intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. Please read the Privacy Policy carefully to understand how Starbucks collects, uses and discloses information about its customers.

Programme Overview

Starbucks® Rewards is one way in which Starbucks endeavors to reward and thank loyal customers for patronising Starbucks business. To enroll in Starbucks® Rewards and receive programme benefits, you will first need to create an account at and then activate and register at least one Starbucks Card to your account. “Activation” means that the Starbucks Card has a minimum of €10 loaded onto it. Starbucks Cards may be activated at participating Starbucks stores (i.e. Starbucks stores operating in airports do not support the programme). You can register any activated Starbucks Card to your account at

Personal information which you provide to us for purposes of creating an account and registering your Starbucks Card will be held pursuant to Starbucks Privacy Policy. Information on Starbucks data protection practices and Starbucks Privacy Policy is available at

All of your Starbucks Cards can be activated and registered for use in Starbucks® Rewards. Starbucks® Rewards benefits are determined based on the “payment amount” you make and the number of “Stars” that you earn through your payment amounts. A “payment amount” for purposes of My Starbucks Rewards means each time you use your activated, registered Starbucks Card to pay for a transaction at a participating Starbucks store in Greece you will receive one Star for each 50 (fifty) cents spent. You can use any Starbucks Card registered to your account to earn Stars for your amount spent. The programme is valid only for purchases via a registered Starbucks Card at Starbucks stores in Greece and not for purchases via delivery platforms. 

There is one (1) way to enroll in Starbucks® Rewards and begin accumulating Stars. You will need a Starbucks Card:

(1) If you have a physical Starbucks Card, visit Follow the prompts to create an account and register at least one (1) physical Starbucks Card. The minimum balance required to register a physical Starbucks Card is €10.

The registration process may require that you provide the following information: username, password, email address (required in order to receive all eligible Rewards), Starbucks Card number, and card security code (CSC), birthday, name, and marketing preferences. All of your Starbucks Cards can be activated and registered for use in Starbucks® Rewards, but you may only have one (1) account that is personal to you.

There are two levels of benefits in Starbucks® Rewards depending on the number of Stars that you accumulate in your account. By creating an account, and activating and registering a Starbucks Card, you will be automatically enrolled in Starbucks® Rewards at the Green Level. Earn at least five hundred (500) Stars within the twelve-month period following your enrolment date and you will proceed to the Gold Level.

To maintain Gold Level benefits, you must earn at least five hundred (500) new Stars during the 12-month period following the date you reached the Gold Level.

Green Level

Opening an account and activating and registering your Starbucks Card automatically enters you into the “Green Level” of Starbucks® Rewards and entitles you to receive:
  • The ability to earn free drinks or snacks: Once you have entered the Green Level, for every one hundred and twenty stars (120) you earn you will receive a free drink or snack* of your choice at any participating Starbucks store in Greece. Your Free Drink or Snack Reward will be automatically loaded onto your account and will be available to you. You must present your registered Starbucks Card to the barista at any Starbucks participating store in Greece in order to receive your Free Drink or Snack Reward. If you have provided Starbucks with a current, valid email address, you will receive a reminder email from Starbucks after earning your 120th Star indicating that your Free Drink or Snack Reward is available to you. You can also view and track your available Free Drink or Snacks Rewards on The first seven (7) days from your registration to the Programme, you will receive double Stars for your purchased via the Starbucks Card. You will receive only one (1) Free Drink Reward regardless of the number of Starbucks Cards that you have registered to your account.
  • News and Offers: News and offers will be distributed by email only, so you must opt-in to receive promotional and marketing emails from Starbucks and provide a valid email address in order to receive them.
  • Additional personalized offers and coupons: Additional personalised offers and coupons are distributed by email only, so you must opt-in to receive promotional and marketing emails from Starbucks and provide a valid email address in order to receive them.
* Packaged food items and fresh sandwiches and salads are not included in the free snacks offer. 

Gold Level

After five hundred stars (500) in a 12 consecutive month period, you reach the “Gold Level.”

At the Gold Level you receive the following benefits:

  • All Green Level benefits (as described above)
  • Complimentary syrup choices include Caramel syrup, Vanilla syrup (regular or sugar free), Hazelnut syrup (regular or sugar free), Almond syrup, Irish Cream syrup, Peppermint syrup
  • Extra shot of espresso
  • Free Blonde Roast Option
  • Free add whipped cream.

A combination of complimentary choices is also acceptable, for example an order of an extra shot vanilla latte would mean that the extra shot and vanilla syrup are for free when you pay with your registered Starbucks Card. The maximum number of extras provided as free is 3.


There are no membership fees associated with Starbucks® Rewards. Stars accumulated under the programme have no cash value.

Your Stars, benefits, registered Starbucks Card(s), and your account under the Starbucks® Rewards programme are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with, family, friends or others.

Starbucks® Rewards benefits are available at any Greek participating store and are subject to change. Starbucks reserves the right to terminate your account and/or your participation in Starbucks® Rewards if Starbucks believes that you have violated these Terms and Conditions or that the use of your account is unauthorised, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful or in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Starbucks also reserves the right to “unregister” and make ineligible for the My Starbucks Rewards programme any Starbucks Card that has been inactive for two consecutive years. Inactive is defined as no purchase activity.

Starbucks reserves the right to terminate, discontinue, cancel or amend the Starbucks® Rewards programme at any time and in its sole discretion without notice to you.

Personal Data collected 

1. Data that are being collected directly by you during your registration to the l programme My Starbucks Rewards: Name, Surname, Father’s Name, email Address, Code, Date of birth , (MSR) Card Number, (MSR) Card Code, Postal Address, Postal Code, Country, Region, Town, Telephone Number, Cell Phone. 
2. Data collected from the use of MSR Card: a) Information are collected in relation with your purchases, in order to be for the benefits rewarding to be feasible through free beverages, snacks, free add-ons, gift cheques or offer vouchers, etc. that have been acquired through the use of My Starbucks Rewards Card. 

Collection and use of minors' personal data

The capability of registration to the promotion update service as well as the capability of registration to the loyalty programme of the Company are open and addressed only to persons over 18 years.
If by any means is verified that any type of personal information has been collected by a minor, this information will be deleted the soonest possible.

Purposes of process of your personal data

The purposes for which we your data is being processed are the following:
• Providing and redeeming of the stars collected.
• Upgrade from Green level to Gold or vice versa, according to the Terms and Conditions of the programme
• Sending newsletters via email, SMS or other digital means in relation with new products and general offers.
• Sending more specialized and individual offers and vouchers that apply exclusively for you as members of the My Starbucks Rewards programme.

Recipients of data

Your personal data are forwarded to a third party (performing the process), which provides to our Company CRM services and acts on behalf of «MARINOPOULOS COFFEE COMPANY SA». This firm receives all the necessary measures of protection and safety for your personal data and also processes your data only, within the limits or our explicit and written requests. In this case, the Company remains as responsible for the process of your personal data and defines the remaining aspects of the processing, also signs a special agreement with the party, at whom may assign the implementation of the processing activities, in order to secure that the process is performed according to the current legal frame and that each individual may freely and without barriers exercise the rights provided by the law. We are always aware to check our associates, in order to be received the necessary protection measures of your personal data during the processing that is assigned within the limits defined by the special agreement. 

Duration of Storage for Personal Data

The Company stores and process your data for as long as your membership account stays active. 
Your account may be stated as inactive in the case that may not be used for a time period of five (5) years.
In the case that your account may be stated as inactive, the Company will erase your data after the end of the current calendar date that your account have been stated as inactive, unless there is imposed a different time period of storage than the one defined by the legal frame.

Safety of Personal Data

The processing procedure of personal data is being conducted in a way that maintains and secures its privacy. The Company uses the proper technical and organizational safety measures, follows rules and other procedures in order to protect your personal data from any type of unauthorized access, mistaken use, alteration, prohibited forwarding, publication, loss or random/ unfair destruction and any other form of unfair process.

Your Rights 

We would like to inform you that for all the above mentioned purposes of process, you have the right to claim, per case, at any time your right for information, access, amendment and limitation and or objection on the process of your data, according to the obligations set by the current legal frame and the EU Directive 2016/679 also you maintain the right to withdraw your consent regarding the process of your personal data or to ask their erase, after contacting directly with the Data Protection Officer (DPO) Mr. Barmpounis Ioannis, email: [email protected], telephone number: 210 9856364.
In the case of exercising one of the above referred rights, the Company will receive any possible measure for the satisfaction of your request within (1) month from the submission and identification of your request, updating you in written for the satisfaction of your request, or for any reasons that may prevent the exercise of one or more of your above referred rights, according to the General Data Protection Policy. We would like to inform you that this period may be expanded for extra sixty (60) days, if this is judged as necessary, taking in consideration the complexity of the request as well as the count of the requests, in this case we will inform you accordingly within the above mentioned period of thirty (30) days.
Particularly, for the withdraw of consent, this may be applied also digitally by following the relevant link and the provided instructions incorporated to all relevant communications (unsubscribe).
